A Shropshire Primary School took a call this morning inviting them to support the Police Federation Charity by taking out an advertisement in  a quarterly magazine: £495 for a half page, £195 for a quarter page.  They were looking for a primary school to advertise. The school refused and dialled 1471- the number was a withheld number. Other schools in Shropshire may receive such calls and should be cautious about agreeing to such advertising contracts in telephone calls.
