I am very pleased to be able to announce the launch of the new Inspire to Learn CPD Training Directory for 2016/17.  This exciting new development co-ordinates all of the training and development opportunities across Shropshire Council’s education support services for the coming financial year.  It provides a one stop shop and consistent approach for the securing of centre-based, school-based and bespoke training and development for all staff - teaching and non-teaching - as well as school governors.  Schools are being encouraged be procure a package of training Credits that can be used flexibly across the vast majority of development opportunities and realise significant savings as a consequence.  However, the option to ‘Pay-as-you-Go’ is also available.

Inspire to Learn CPD Training Directory 2016/17

 A hard copy of the Directory will be posted out to all schools shortly.  Given the rapidly changing educational landscape, the Inspire to Learn programme of support will be continually updated and so watch out for termly updates on new development opportunities.

A proforma is attached for schools to indicate what Credit package they would like to procure.  Please note that schools will be free to upgrade their Credit package at any point in the year should they find that they have used up their initial Credit allocation.  Further savings are available for clusters of 3 or more schools.  A separate form is attached for booking places on centre-based training courses.

We have worked hard to showcase all of the development opportunities currently available.  However, if you have a specific training need that is not covered, or have any queries regarding the CPD programme, please do not hesitate us.
